In my view this is Cadbury's best product but it is not sold in England. It's made by Cadbury's Ireland and you can get it via Internet seller's including ebay. The nearest equivalent in England is Cadbury's Dairy Milk with Crunchie Bits, but this is nowhere near as good. Anyone else tried Golden Crisp? If so do you agree with me?

Yes, Golden Crisp is great. But it's no Caramello. Mmmmmm!

£1.20 is extortionate mind you, they're 55p in the garage around the corner from me. I'll do them for £1 each

So the Ireland only Cadbury's products like Golden Crisp, Mint Crisp, Caramello and Tiffin are officially sold in Northern Ireland? Or are some small outlets supplied from ROI cash & carry's or the like?

It looks as though it used to be sold in the UK:

Same with the Cadbury's Tiffin:

Not 100% sure but I would guess that it's not official as most shops have the UK range. There are a few garages and shops that stock them around Belfast but as you move closer to the border, more and more shops have them. I'd suspect that these businesses are owned by ROI businessmen (or women) and are supplied from down south.

Looks boring, probably won't try it.
Not entirely sure on what planet a chocolate bar could be described as "boring". Posting on a forum that you find a chocolate bar boring is pretty boring, though.

If you buy 5 you can get them for less than £1 each from an ebay seller from NI.

Not if you take into account the postage they aren't. Alright, alright, you've twisted my arm. I'll do £1 each and if you order 5+ I'll give you free postage As I've already said though, the Golden Crisp pails into insignificance when compared with it's Caramello sibling!

Just proves that if they can be bought for £0.55 retail in NI there's certainly scope to undercut other offerings for Cadbury's Ireland only products.

Buy it from a shop called Cybercandy if I get a craving for caramello although it doesn't happen that often but sometimes get supplies of it from there.

Golden Crisp one sounds nice. I'm sure the Mint Crisp one was sold in the UK a few years back as was the one with Orange Chips.
Tiffin = Raisan and Biscuit eh? Yum!

They sell the American version made by Hershey under license from Cadbury's.

Its the Australian one I had last time along with the cadbury's five fruit chocolate can't remember the proper name of it though but I know it to see it.

There was Caramello Freddo's as well last time I was in.

I think BHL explained that to you Stacey. It's even stranger that you are continuing to post on this thread

Whats the difference between Caramello and the Caramel in the UK?
Might give Golden Crisp (Irish) a try one day. I heard Irish/Australian Dairy Milk tastes different?

Irish Dairy Milk is made from the exact same recipe as English made Dairy Milk. Australian Dairy Milk tastes totally different as it doesn't have Vegetable Fat in it. Can't answer your other question as I don't like either.

The caramel in a Caramello is more runny than a Caramel. It also tastes different, almost boozy.

I used to love the Cadbury bar with Butterscotch pieces! Went off sale at least 10 years ago I think.

The imported Cadbury's dairy milk here in China comes from Australia and to be honest I really can't tell the difference.
