After downloading & installing BBC iPlayer desktop to my laptop with Windows 7, the program won't run or open. When clicking on the icon all that happens is a dialog box pops up asking, 'Do you want iplayer desktop to make changes to your computer?' Click yes & still nothing.

I admit that it's not the first time I have used desktop on this computer and it has worked and downloaded perfectly well previously. Have I duplicated the program in the memory or something? I have downloaded and reinstalled desktop and Adobe Air several times by now.

Any ideas on how to correct it to get it working properly again? Much appreciated!

Sometimes, you have to completely uninstall applications before you can reinstall them properly. It is worth trying that first.
