Jim Morrison died July 3rd 1971
Surprised there's nothing on telly about this today.
Jim was a great singer, The Doors are a great band. |

The Doors and Jim were great. He seems to divide opinion more than most ''Icons'', but he's a Legend to me.

Two and a bit years ago on February 3rd 2009 there was quite a fuss made about the 50th anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly, so maybe we'll just have to be patient and wait until 3rd July 2021 before a similar fuss is made about Jim Morrison. |

Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger apparently visited Jim's grave at Pere Lachaise on Sunday and spent some time with fans lighting candles.
I still play their music from time to time, especially Strange Days (sans Horse Latitudes, obviously) |
