There's a tune that has been used on various programs recently as incidental music. I've been trying to track it down without much success and I keep attempting to get some kind of sample of it so that I could use song recognition software on my phone to try and find out what it is.

So, today it unexpectedly popped up on Country Tracks at 23mins 55 secs. I tried to grab a sample, but Julia Bradbury wouldn't stop talking over it! Aaargh!

Please, somebody put me out of my misery!

Thanks

I couldn't really hear much of it.

The same thing has happened to me with a piece of 'chill out' music that has been used on various TV programs as a backdrop. It has been used on Sugar Rush on an establishing shot of the Palace Pier in Brighton, Mary Queen of shops, The Real Hustle Las Vegas and even in an Aston Kutcher film 'A lot like love' from 2005. I tried looking at the soundtrack for the latter but it was not not on it at all. I can not even find a clip of it on Youtube on the programs above, or even on a chill out compilation as I just get frustrated and just give up.

Hey rfonzo, I may not be having much success (although thanks for the Keane suggestion, Glowbot), but maybe I can ease your pain

I've never seen the film, but had a look on IMDB and it contains many of the tracks from the film:

If I were to hazard a guess, the song you described sounds like Groove Armada's 'Hands of Time'

If it's not (actually, it probably isn't as I've just checked out the OST and this is on it), it's maybe worth renting the film and studying the end credits - I'm pretty sure it'll be there somewhere.

Hope this helps

Have heard it many times before (its been used by Sky Sports on cricket, background music when they show the scorecards and when they go to a break), but sorry, I can't name that tune.
