People in Melody's line of work get loads of requests like yours every day, they can't answer everyone.

Better to write a letter than send an email.

Not a fan of Melody, but what is the point of this thread? SHe ignored/forgot to respond to your message, and now she's a bad person?

If you're the sort of person who gets upset when someone forgets to return your message, then maybe you're not the right role model for teenagers.

I get tonnes of proposals, some are legit, many are scams, if I had to respond to each and every one of these, I wouldn't have the time of day to get work done.

I'm not actually that impressed by that. At the age of 15, I was a successful businessman, running half of London.

I'd actually been to prison twice, but somehow I turned it around, investing in property and utilities- soon I found my extensive portfolio included four major stations, an electricity company, and a hotel on Mayfair

oh, wait a minute...

I take it from that "claim" is that she alone set up the youth parliament.

I have tried to find out if that is true, but Melody isnt mentioned anywhere.

So a bit of courtesy is too much to expect now? As others have pointed out, it takes seconds to respond to an e-mail.

It was her loss in the end - it turned out to be a very good project.

Not responding to an email hardly makes her a she-devil.
