I remeber hearing that when his madness first started, but lets face it, thats never going to happen, one of his gfs on the other hand, thats far more likely.

Plus despite press interest, does anyone in the UK really care about Charlie Sheen, the show isnt exactly well known over here.

I think The Daily Star are just hyping. I'd never rule out anything with Charlie Sheen - but it won't be for £6m. It'd make him the highest paid TV star in the UK this year.

I think his breakdown is more known about than Two and a Half Men here.

which is odd, why would we care about the breakdown of a celebrity who isnt well known over where, fine the British papers gave plenty of coverage to Britneys break downs, but we knew who she was, she had even been on a few UKTV shows. This is simply not the case with Charlie Sheen.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility. Less high profile 12.30 kick offs on ESPN have averaged audiences as large as 400k on Sundays last season. The record currently is 613k.

Depends how much intro/outro, what other sporting competition exists, etc.

I think the British public just like to know about celebrities going bananas, whether they're aware of why they're famous or not. Hence the desperation behind certain tabloids to get scoops first.

But £6m does seem incredibly high... surely even Charlie isn't that demanding.

I dont know ive not heard of him doing anything crazy recently, hes more likely to use it as a time to calm down, and try to come clean. Still it would attract press attention from all over the world.

The article doesn't even say he is getting £6m for going on BB (if you read it carefully).

It says "as part of a £6 million deal" on the front page. I guess add ons could be included in that.

I am pretty sure Charlie Sheen is now all calm, and may be regretting what he did, as he isnt being taken seriously anymore. Going on CBB is not going to help with that.

Well, that's ITV's fault for not wanting to spend any money on post-10pm programming so everything gets thrown on in peaktime even if it's massively unsuitable (cf Show Me The Funny). The Marriage Ref is, at its heart, a bog standard panel game that's simply not strong enough as the centrepiece of an evening. Might have been better at 10.35 too as they wouldn't have booked hopeless unfunny guests like Geri Halliwell and Eamonn Holmes.

The details about Pros and Cons don't make it sound like Odd One In because the people involved will actually be doing their job and not just being stood there in a line. It sounds like it's going to be a spectacle, not another panel game which is too insubstantial for Saturday night.


I don't think it's actually possible to show The Football League Show much earlier than they do for logistical reasons. And it makes just as much sense to put it on at the same time it's going to be on most weeks. Lower league football gets a higher profile from the live games, the difference is that this season the Beeb's opening game is on Sunday rather than Saturday.

Fantastic rating for the show, its highest ever.

On another note, Born To Shine only had 9.9% share last night, according to Paul Brassey.

Dragons' Den was excellent last night. Hillary is a good addition to the show.

Yikes, absolutely horrid for Born to Shine! I assume more people were watching TV in the 8pm hour than 9pm, but a 9.9% share will be about 2.4 million. Horrible.

Genius idea by BBC Two to schedule its two biggest programmes back-to-back on a weakish night for BBC One & ITV1. Terrific ratings for them.

Watch's rerun of Dynamo had 588k at 9pm/10pm.
