And stuff like L&O is underperforming. The only decent rating shows are the soaps, repeats of films & dramas and an axed drama which says a lot. XF's return can't come quick enough, but I can almost guarantee it will be considerably down with the new judging line up.
Great night for Ch5 with the Cricket boosting the rest of the schedule. PI is on the way up and that's the best rating I've seen for a Monday film repeat in a while.”

I don't see why they just didn't steal some of ITV2's summer programming. Yes, it would have been repeats but the brands are stronger. ITV2 are repeating Benidorm which would have been good value on ITV1, especially as its summer, whilst a repackaged Xtra Factor Best & Worst could have been a good addition in the lead up to X Factor. Both shows could have got over 3m on ITV1 and saved them the embarrassment.
Homes From Hell would have been better on a Monday with a Corrie lead in. It didn't work out last night but its dependent on the type of show for it to work and it could get them respectable figures of around 3.5m.
