Not as far as I know which is a shame because it's a great show. Channel 5 should go for it, especially now it has been renewed - although that may bump the cost of the rights up.

No Brekkie just you and a few others liked it on the thread. Most of us keep our personal opinions on shows out of the 'ratings' thread.

The Phone hacking scandal seem to have boosted NewsNight and the BBC News Channel. Newspapers seem to getting the same treatment that they gave the BBC and other TV channels during the Fakery and Sachsgate which is only fair as they've gotten away with things a lot worse.

The One Show featuring Question Time, maybe that should happen more often.

In other news today the 2018 Winter Olympics have been handed to Pyeongchang in South Korea. It'll mean overnight and morning coverage for us, but NBC get lucky as the time difference should mean most skiing events are in primetime.

EastEnders pretty much ran to time tonight.
Hopefully it should rate well as it was a cracking Hour of Television

Excellent rating for The Apprentice which has really hit back strongly this series after a downward trend last autumn. As ever, its a shame 'You're Hired' will be rolled into the finale - otherwise you'd happily back the final to break 10m.
All news outlets (particularly Newsnight) getting a bump from the NOTW story - Question Time will surely get one tonight too. I'm quite enjoying seeing the newspapers having some of the s*** they usually spread turned back on them by TV.

Yet it got more viewers than The Killing and possibly Mad Men (season four at least), and if you read the papers you would think everyone is watching them.

That's a fantastic figure for The Apprentice, and BBC1 had a good evening in general. Lewis held up well. Surely Channel Five can find something else at 7pm as the news is not working in that slot.

Looking forward to Question Times ratings tommorow with the plug in The One Show and the big News International Story.
Also the Kate programme on ITV. IMO either a bit of a flop or a good ratings for a summer Thursday on ITV. |

Question Time didn't go up by as much as I expected. Thought it would have nudged 5m. Was it promoted enough, likewise with the hour long EastEnders and The Apprentice Final 5?

I really dont think this story is as big as the media think it is. At this stage its wall to wall on Sky News and News 24 but I just wonder if the vast majority of people who live outside of this bubble really care that much, Sure people are upset about the non-celeb victims but apart from that I wonder if people really care too much.

to be fair Candy Bar Girls may generate some buzz and either increase over the series, or not drop off alot.

For anyone wondering, from last weekend:
Sky Box Office 20:00 to 00:00 - Big Fight Live: 924k (5.3%) * peak: 1.23m (7.6%) at 22:50 |
