It's also one of the few ITV entertainment shows that actually suits the 9pm slot quite well, as some of their others feel out of place there (stuff like All Star Family Fortunes/Mr and Mrs, Take Me Out etc. are more suited to 8pm whilst Life Stories is best suited to the 10pm slot).
I think they should bring it back in Q1 next year for a similar length run for this one, and it could go on Fridays or Saturdays. The pilot did quite well (4.2m) in the Friday 9pm slot and the regular series could return there in January next year to replace Comedy Rocks, where I think it could get ~4m (possibly up to 4.5m if the competition is weak) which for that slot would be pretty solid, and the demos were just as good for the Friday pilot as they are on Saturdays IIRC.
Alternatively it could go on Saturdays after Take Me Out. As much as I'd like ITV to put the Dancing on Ice performances show on Saturdays the chances are they probably won't. Also they're stuck with Primeval for another year there. This year Primeval basically sucked all the momentum out of the Saturday night lineup as it's demos weren't great and didn't fit in at all with the rest of the evening's schedule. Therefore next January I think they could go for:
18:00- Primeval, 19:00- YBF!, 19:30- Best of TV Burp, 20:00- Take Me Out, 21:15- Fool Us.
That lineup wouldn't rate brilliantly but I think it would do better than this year's and as they seem reluctant to move DOI across that looks reasonable enough. Primeval would probably only get 3-3.5m but I don't think it would do much, if any better an hour later. Harry Hill hour might take a hit from The Voice but at least it'd get the 'right' demos watching, and would be good for a minimum of 4-4.5m, which is fine for Best of TV Burp episodes. *With an entertainment lead-in TMO could get high 4s-low 5s with good demos, which would hopefully mean P&T could do 4-4.5m at 9:15pm which is pretty decent for that slot. Nothing spectacular there perhaps, but a solid schedule that would do better than this year's January Saturday schedule did.”

Hmm I think that the problem with this is that I wonder that if the content of Primeval V would be suitable for this timeslot? There were moments where I was looking away from the screen and the DVD is rated 12.

Do you really think BBC One is going to be showing Holby City and Traffic Cops when team GB is competing for medals?
