I've spent a good few years not listening to music and it's only recently that i've started listening again. Recently i brought a few cd's from amazon (based on customer reviews). In general it's been a good experience, though sometimes i just want to put in a cd and be brought to life.

ok heres the list of songs:

1. 808 - pacific state
2. jx - nothing i won't do
3. the beloved - sun rising
4. bizarre inc feat angie brown - i'm gonna get you
5. josh wink - higher state of consciousness
6. opus III - it's a fine day
7. technohead - banana na-na (phun phactory mix)
8. strike - u sure do
9. xpansion - move your body higher
10. voodoo ray - a guy called gerald
11. crystal waters - surprise
12. solu music feat kimblee - fade
13, m-beat - just a little
14 berri - sunshine after the rain
15. m-beat - dark magnet

break beat, dance and dance techno.

there's a feel to these songs and i'm hoping somone can add to this list or give me a list of songs that ignite their inner spark.

Can I ask why you stopped listening to music?

I think your expectations are way too high. Unfortunately, now that iTunes dominate, labels put out albums with as many hits as possible, not cohesive masterpieces. I went through a similar phase (of course I never stopped listening to music, I just wasn't OVERenthusiastic about anything), but then I just realized that I can't expect an album to be groundbreaking/lifechanging really. If an album has 2 AMAZING songs, 6-7 great songs and the other tracks are not too bad then I'm cool.
And also, don't really expect that an album/song can give you that spark with one or two listens. It takes time to really get a song and find the things that you like about it.

(I didn't suggest any tracks, I know, I just gave you a different prospective that might help you enjoy music more in the future)

amazing reviews!

I was looking at another goa mix last night, though decided it wasn't for me after youtubing some of the tracks.

just thought you'd like to know i brought it (just now) along with psy trance euphoria mixed by john 00 fleming.

Good choices!

The Goa Mix you've just bought is actually a remix of the original that you looked at before, but I'd say don't go by hearing the tracks seperately, it HAS to be enjoyed as a whole
