What DVD recorder (Sony GX3 or a PC drive)

I want to copy recordings off my PVR and onto DVD. I like the Sony RDR GX3, but might I be better off with a PC DVD*RW drive, as have an analogue capture card. How does the quality compare?
Any opinions would be appriciated.

(I used a * as I don't want to kick of the whole + vs - format debate)

For ease of use, go for the Sony GX3 because even though you may have an analogue capture card for your PC, you have to burn all the information to DVD afterwards with dedicated software (and create chapters, menu's, etc).
