Philadelphia Recipes!
Has anyone ever cooked any of these recipes? I had the iPhone app of it on my iPhone, but I lost my phone! I'm just at work and am supposed to be cooking the Sausage, bacon and potatoe bake for a friend tonight but I can't get onto the Philadephia website to get the recipe for it!! Can anyone post it here for me? And does anyone have any other Philli recipe reccomendations?

I have tried a few tried a few recipes. But the problem with philly is that it is a very distinctive taste, unlike many cream cheeses. So whatever you make I find that the philly overpowers all the other flavours.
Anyway here is the recipe I think: Ingredients 5 Lincolnshire or Cumberland sausages 4 rashers lean back bacon, cut into pieces 1 onion, diced 600 g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 200 g Philadelphia Light with Spring Onion & Black Pepper 120 ml chicken stock 25 g Cheddar cheese, grated Instructions Cut each sausage into bite-sized pieces. Fry along with the bacon and onion in a non stick pan for around 8 minutes, until browned. Meanwhile cook the potato slices in a large pan of boiling water for around 8 minutes or until just soft. Drain and allow to cool slightly. Put the Philly in a small saucepan with the stock and heat gently, until the Philly has melted. Season to taste. Place half the sausage mixture in a greased oven-proof dish, layer with half the potato slices and cover with half the sauce. Repeat the process and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese. Bake at 190⁰C, gas mark 5 for about 25 minutes or until heated through and golden. |
