Marinading question

How do you marinade lamb shanks with mint sauce and how long do you leave it?

Not heard of using mint sauce as a marinade.

Maybe red wine and herbs (including mint). I use large freezer bags for marinading - throw it all in, tie and every hour or so give the bag a gentle massage.

Asda sell lamb shanks marinaded so were trying to do our own so we can have better quality shanks.
