Does Bon Iver sound muffled to you?
I like his music but he always sounds like he's singing under the duvet. Is it just me, or do others find his voice indistinct and out-of-focus?

is that a euphenism for weak, whiney and uninspiring? Maybe I'm a dinosaur but I do like male vocalists to sound like.... men? When they sound like women or primary school kids I struggle.

I like the sound. I'm pretty certain it's deliberate.
