Slow cooker/stew question
I usually make a beef stew in my slow cooker using fresh veg so I can throw everything in at the same time. However this time I am using up some frozen casserole veg instead so can I put it all in together from the start or do I need to add the veg later?

It will take forever to heat your slow cooker with frozen products in it. Might be ready in 4 or 5 days.
Defrost them and add them at the end. Last edited by ardwark : 06-07-2011 at 09:02. Reason: more typos than you can shake a stick at |

Thanks for the advice - it's a good thing I asked first!
I'll defrost them and add them near the end.
