Will my Pizza be okay?
I cooked a pizza earlier, and ate half. The other half was going to be reheated for lunch tomorrow. That's fine, I know.
Only thing is, my brother then took the other half, heated it up, and then I told him that the pizza was mine for tomorrow, so he put it back. Will it be okay to reheat a 3rd time for tomorrow? It's just a veggie one |

It would probably be revoltingly hard. I suppose you could make a salad with it.

Eat it cold! I mean, it's only a piece of dry pizza

TBH Bethaneeny I think you were a bit mean for not letting your brother eat it! You needn't have said anything. He'd already re-heated it after all and you could have had something else tomorrow.

Deleted. 'twas not worth the bother.
Imagine getting worked up about re-heating a pizza. I cannot. |

I was in a different room, and I told him not to eat the pizza, mum had already made him dinner (which I don't like, hence me making something else), so that would have gone to waste, and I didn't know he'd heated it up til afterwards

I'd never eat anything that's been heated more than twice, but that's just me.

So you've never had a soup/stew on the hob for a week?

That's just crazy. I'm the last to bother about sell-by dates and the like, but I image a saucepan of soup that had sat unrefrigerated on the hob for a week would be mouldy!

If our stomachs were that weak we'd have been made extinct by now. Our biggest problem with food is being overly cautious and throwing out food that is perfectly fine to eat. Don't be ruled by use by dates as they are just a guide only.
I had a bag of pears in the fridge recently and one pear had gone completely soft and mushy but the rest were soft but otherwise fine. I made a delicious pear flan and three days later I am still standing. The sight of the pears would be enough to make most quiver at the knees by the sound of it.

And there's me thinking it was standard in years gone by to have a pot of food on the hob. Pretty sure it was so it goes to show how times have changed.
