Yogurt maker query
We have been successfully using our yogurt maker for a few months now but yesterday's batch separated ... clear white stuff on the bottom and white yogurt on the top. Does anyone have any idea why? We wondered if it might be because it was such a warm day?

What type of yoghurt maker is it? An electric one or one akin to the easiyo range, which I have? If it is the latter, sometimes you need to refill the container with boiling water. The heat could have affected the resulting product.

I have an Easiyo system.
I've never had the splitting problem. The only 'problem' I've had is the lemon flavour tends to come out with very small 'bits' in it, as if some of the powder has coagulated. Just the lemon though, never any of the other flavours I use. |

It's an electric system so not a water thing. Thanks anyway though.
