Tom is terrible. It's just embarrassing at this point.

Nonsense. Tom was spot-on and finally sticking up for himself after her steamrollering of him in the French task and the biscuit task.

That may or may not be true but firing Tom later would not be the same because he hasn't been an obnoxious idiot through the process.

I thought his sarcastic comment of 'unsurprisingly Melody's job involves a lot of talking' was hysterically funny

I've been a fan of Tom, I still am, and I've thought for some time that he will win.

But now I've changed my mind. As soon as I heard AS say 'You're right up my alley' I realised that he will be for the chop.

I'm now thinking that Jim will win. He was the early front runner, so much so that they needed to put us off the scent, and (along with significant help from Jim) they gave him the villain edit, Karen called him 'passive aggressive' Nick 'made it clear' that he didn't like him (yeah, right) and between them, they cut him down to size, so that the only way was up. He is in the ascendency now, and I think their plan will have worked.

Nice job all round - if you're Jim!

Oh yes! My favourite moment of the show!

Even when I was supporting him, I've never really liked the way Tom addresses Sugar. It always sounds like he's grovelling. And I think when you're asked to explain why you should be kept on, you should be able to do so without putting other candidates down.

I'd rather start a business with Tom, than most of the others, so on that basis, he's a good candidate.

Do you think Bill Gates would let the likes of Melody walk off with all the appointments? He's no-one's pussy.

No because Bill Gates would be paying Melody's wages so she wouldn't try and cross him.

People don't respect you as a boss because you act like an arse, they respect you because they pay your wages and have the power to fire you.

Even if she worked for a different company, he wouldn't let her get away with pulling a fast one over his company.

Regardless, Tom wimped out even when he was PM and had the necessary authority.

In his case, it was his drive and ambition and talent and general non-wimpiness (and, admittedly, rich parents) that got him the position of boss.
