Agreed all three points. Although it is worrying that he hassled her for things she did before she came on the show. I hate it when they get fired for their CVs. They ought to look at them before the show starts filming.

Do you have figures to be sure of that? (And I suspect the amount of the fine was picked to avoid changing the result.) Personally I think Susan was a bit lucky, because what she did was not just without approval from the PM, but outside the concept of the task. They were supposed to pick old products that they had seen sell well, not guess new products that they hoped would sell.

I think that would be dishonourable too. Giving the PM a chance to step down is one thing, done in the open with no sneakiness. Refusing to accept the outcome of that confrontation, and disobeying direct instructions, is another. Indeed, her attempted coup puts her in a worse position for disobeying. If she was PM, she'd expect to be obeyed.
