She's said she's releasing a different version in Europe in October/November to tie-in with the X Factor.

As an R&B lover, I'm liking what I hear.

Sounds like it's gonna be better than Ms. Kelly. I'm hoping to get this version as well as the euro version later on in the year, and mix the better songs together and make an ever better album
Definatley will be adding Rose Colored Glasses and Grown Ass Woman to that list as well as The Way You Love Me, What A Feeling, When Love Takes Over and Forever And A Day.

Eeek, I've been waiting for this album since 'Commander' was released, So soon, It sounds really good...Love 'Turn It Up' already.....

Some of the songs sound slightly Keri Hilson/Wynter Gordan-ish - But better!

Hope this is Kelly's big break, she deserves it big time!

Snippets never really help me.I've been anticipating for 'I'm Dat Chick' since the 1-minute snippet surfaced earlier this year.Besides that, I liked the snippets for 'Turn It Up' , 'Keep It Between Us' and the 2nd track ('Work Man'???)

I didn't want to listen to the whole thing. When she sang it in concert, I was sure it was going to be on the album, so I decided to wait.
This version that was leaked back then was not mastered and not the final album version. So what's the point anyway??

Kelly Rowland doesn't know what she's doing, bless her.

The idea of separate tracklistings for different markets is one of the dumbest ideas in years.

She should have done a 2CD album, with Disk 1 focusing on R&B and Disk 2 on dance. End of.

Kelly Rowland is a very talented and inspiring singer who has a lot to offer. I just think as a solo artist she has not had the right backing or direction to really hit the big time. HOWEVER, I think this new album 'Here I Am' could be about to change all that especially as she has a new record company presenting her. This album has been long in the making but from what i've heard so far which are two singles 'Commander' and 'Motivation' plus the snippets of the entire album I am very impressed and think it's a great effort. I love that essentially it is an RnB album but there is a clear hip-hop vibe to it as well which really works.

I look forward to hearing the album in it's entirety. Also I actually think it's an interesting choice to release two different versions of the album, she is specifically catering to her particular markets and I think it's a smart move giving the various audiences what they want.

In the UK specifically I think she could do really well with her being on The X Factor, and actually it's a good idea to launch her new stuff in the autumn to co-incide with the airing of the series.

I gotta a feeling that finally this may be the solo project that gives her her dues as a n artist and performer. HOWEVER marketing and promotion is key for her, and I do think her live shows need to standout a little more and she needs to start being a little more creative and daring with them. This would give her a real boost.

I couldn't agree with you anymore

Kelly doesn't suit dance music at all. Stick to your urban roots. It all went downhill when she went Dance personally. But there is so many urban females and so many dance females and she isn't anything special to make her stand out.

If she released a 2-disc album, it would be too expensive for the public to buy, so whoever is on the fence about her/her material would write the album off because of the price.
She's not established yet and she's expirementing to find her lane, so I don't see why it's dumb to give all the audiences something until they get to know her.

not really. 'ms kelly' wasnt a dance album and it flopped like a wet jelly, as did all the singles from it apart from the lead one.
her first hit with guetta was a massive smash around the world, and commander was a hit. problem is america is only just getting into dance music.
i think shes great in both genres, as long as she has decent tunes!

When Beyoncé released a double album I can't remember it being expensive. However if she was to do that then she'd get accused of copying her.

Anyway to be honest I was hoping some of these songs would jump at me a bit more. Some sound a bit generic. She's been working on this for ages so I was expecting a little more. Then again they are only snippets so can;t judge properly. Liking the sound of Keep It Between Us. I like Lay It On Me.

I'm interested in the Dance album as well.

I love dance Kelly more than Urban Kelly.

Commander is so underrated. Album sounds good from the previews.

I think Lay It On Me is actually quite boring and I have a feeling that it will be one of the least strong tracks on the album. It's just so generic and Big Sean adds NOTHING to it.

Lay It On Me kinda reminds me of Right There, I'm Into You, Lose Control and What's My Name. It wouldn't sound out of place with those songs. Still like it though.

Yeah agree on Generic album title, but the music within IS NOT.

Good album, like 'Down for Whatever' the best!

That explains why you like it.You're focusing on the instrumental as opposed to Big Sean's awful lyrics

1.30 minute snippets of the songs from Here I AM are now available on the US iTunes store

http://itunes.apple.com/us/preorder/...m/id449220577#

I'm liking the sound of this more with those longer snippets.
