Don't think she has her own Appreciation thread so I thought I'd set one up. Have fun

Gotta lotta love for Sophie. 'Today The Sun's On Us' was just played on my iTunes. It's a song I can empathise with greatly, and I adore how her voice can turn even the most average-sounding song into something quite spectacularly moving.

I was really pleased when Groovejet made no 1 in 2000. I found this a remarkable achievement as it had trailed that Truesteppers/ Dane Bowers/ Victoria Beckham collaboration all week then overtook it at the weekend to make no 1.

I have liked examples of Sophie's songs with The Audience (I Know Enough), with Spiller (Groovejet) and Solo (Murder on the Dancefloor).

It is good alright. Doesn't seem to be doing very well in the charts though?

I love Make a Scene, but to be honest after all the delays and waits and singles, I'm impressed it got into the top 40 - and she did it from her own label too!
