His ability to switch from silver-tongued, easygoing charmer to ruthlessly self-obsessed bastard and back again in seconds reminds me of someone I used to work for.

One day he was the nicest guy in the world, another he'd try and get you sacked as soon as look at you. The worst part was that you never knew which one you were going to get. Did wonders for morale in the office...

Not really what you want to be doing to get the best out of your colleagues!

Jim has grown on me in this series. When he went really mad and come across as a bit of a control freak in the magazine task, I hated him but he was a real charmer and proved an expert at selling last night!

I like Jim, but I don't think he would be a great business partner. He would be an excellent middle manager though (and I don't mean that in an offensive way). His skills are perfectly suited to it- that and market selling!
