It was Susan who was making it ALL about her.

I wasn't the one who needed to try and undermine anyone (though granted I came in with the cheap shot afterward someone tried to do it with me). Also I believe it was well thought out (even if you don't agree) with some time and effort put into presentation.

Natasha was saying she believed (rightly or wrongly) Susan was partly to blame because of her behaviour the second day but where did she put 'ALL' the blame? It was Susan who was trying to say Natasha was putting all the blame on her despite on two seperate occasions Natasha saying 'we're a team' which by defination tells us she also was blaming herself and Jim. Like I say maybe she was wrong, maybe it was all one person but the only person saying she was blaming one person was Susan.

In Lucinda's year the losing finalist wotshername wrote on the web afterwards that the candidates were physically and mentally worn out. Two (?) tasks a week and always teetering on defeat and failure. She wrote that candidates got 4 hours sleep a night . She herself had a breakdown at the end of it all. Not surprising about 4 hours sleep, if Lord Sugar's emissaries (and Himself) habiltually turned up at the house at 5:30 am.

In nodding off after obediently and sunnily trying to flog duvets in Kensington and Belgravia to no avail, Susan merely showed she was human. She remained quite cheerful and did not throw in the sponge or swear at Natasha despite provocation. "Are the French fond of children" Susan is beginning to endear herself to the audience now.

She really tries, Natasha and Melody just talk. It begins to look more credible now, that as a teenager Susan went to school, and in her spare time sold enough to pay off her mum's mortgage. Atta girl.

Susan said, in the boardroom, she thought they might sell well to households. So she seemed to be responsible for what she did the first day.

It depends on who the edit was protecting, I suppose - they were telling the 'Natasha is useless' story this week, it seems. So if it was her idea, it's surprising they didn't show it.

I missed her saying that but as PM Natasha would surely have had to sanction Susan going off.

Natasha was an absolute arse last night. Completely missed the entire point of the task and tried to tell her team-mates how to do it the wrong way. Nick should have told LAS just how wrong she got it, as he did the cameras and us. Jim sold superbly, and while Susie has had a few silly things over the course of the series, quite frankly, at the age of 21, I think she is brilliant. Has business acumen, has a nice approach when selling and puts a lot of hard graft in there. For Natasha to single her out for blame the way she did was atrocious, laughing and patronisingly branding her a child when thats exactly what she was, along with being a vacuous moron who has blaggged into the final 5 after having done nothing of note in the entire series. I want her fired next week!

I do admit to being a fan of Susan so far, but even so I was staggered that Natasha lost the plot over the task.

LAS made it clear that stock left would be counted as a plus, not deducted as has happened before, because this task was supposed to reflect the reality of being a street trader.

They would have won by a much bigger margin, (AND not fined the £100 by LAS) if she had sent Jim off to restock earlier.

As for the spat at the market, and later in the house, Natasha is showing that she is so out of her depth, the old standby of so many this series was activated in that it was "lets belittle Susan" time.

Jim though, as I mentioned on another thread, is going to keep his nose out of it, as he knows when Natasha is fixed on Susan, then he wont have to tell her what a total waste of space she was on the task.

Yeah, but what did Jim have to lose by telling Natasha that she was to blame, it would compond her misery and make her perform badly again. Susie has been bullied by so many people throughout the show, would have been nice to see someone stand up for her, but yeah, Jim's out for himself, he's made that clear from the very start.

Yes it was brilliant the way she stopped Jim going to restock until it was too late. And undermining Susan on the market stall was a masterstroke of people management.

Obviously stopping anyone "playing games" was the priority, rather than listening to their input and trying to win the task. I didn't see either Jim or Susan attempt to mess her around, btw.

Simply put, he decided it wasnt worth the aggro.

He may have to work with her on the next task, he could even be the PM, so why stir things up?.

I am no fan of Jim, but he did what most would have done, and kept out of it.

Natasha was clearly singling out Susan for criticism. I don't see how you can deny it.

Jim sold until he ran out of stock.

He then spent exactly as much time restocking as was left.

It would have made no difference if he'd restocked earlier except that he would have moved the selling hiatus earlier in the day when his pitch - Shepherd's Bush Market - would have been much busier and so he would almost certainly have lost trade overall.

Didn't he get caught in traffic on his way to the O2? I'd imagine one of the busy periods in London is between 5pm and 6pm - if Jim had restocked earlier, he might not have wasted as much time in traffic.

There are always imponderables.

It's possible.

But, as I said, there are a lot more people around Shepherd's Bush Market earlier in the afternoon. It's pretty deserted by 5.

It's hard to say whether interrupting sales when you have plenty of customers around would more or less offset any time wasted/saved on transport.

As far as I can see Natasha managed Jim, Susan and the whole task dreadfully and not Brilliant as you would have us beleive

I agree Natasha did badly but I did feel sorry for her, it was falling apart and she couldn't hold it together. Unless others make a terrible faux pas next week, I think she will be out. However she has done well in the series overall and good luck to her in the future.

How can you feel sorry for her ? It was her fault it was falling apart because she didn't understand the basic concept of the task.

Most of us can feel sorry for someone who fails because they are not perfect.

Agreed, but I find it hard to feel sorry for someone who is more interested in putting another candidate down with petty name calling than getting on with the job in hand.

I also found her interruption of Susan's sale with her pathetic attempt at reminding Susan and the customer that she was " the boss" far more childish than anything Susan has said or done.

People who like to highlight others weaknesses rather than show their own strengths are lacking something in my opinion.

I'll be honest, she grates on me like chalk on a blackboard.
