I think Helen believes she is untouchable. She will happily criticise others but the same can't be applied to her.

Well done on Tom though I say, good to see him realise that it can help to be a bit more forceful and defensive of yourself when needed.

i think it was a very unhappy expreirence for him as Siralan made it clear he was on the chopping bloc and the girls went off and wasted time and made bad decisons. He must have seen a wins slipping away. And to cap off the experience - there was nearly a coup.

I do hope Tom wins next week. With Helen-Tom, I think there's a chance, so long as she doesn't escalate on that remark back at the house..

I have watched all the shows from the start. If you believe Helen saying " I have won 9 tasks " is utterly trivial, that's entirely up to you. I on the other hand think it was ridiculous. As I have already said, the concept of The Apprentice is all about 2 teams trying to beat each other..She must have forgot she was in a team. As for sticking up for herself. She could've gone down the path of what she could offer, what her strengths were, what she was good at, blah, blah blah. Not tell AS what he already knew...She was in the winning team 9 times

Paloma got fired for not knowing when to shut up.

Tom made one valid point about both Melody and Helen's business experience compared to his, the same point that Susan had made against Jim and Glenn a few weeks ago. Paloma just basically called everyone else useless and said that their track records outside of the programme were not as good as hers, which was impossible to prove.

The wettest candidate ever gives the second wettest a telling off for perhaps the mildest "insult" ever given in the boardroom.

It was her first experience in the board room so she didn't expect to be criticised by Tom whom she saw as Mr Nice Guy. I think she assumed the only people who would criticise her would be the ones she had a clash with, like Melody.

I was glad she was on a losing team because we finally got to see what I suspected for a while - she doesn't like criticism and she doesn't have the business head (she had also misunderstood two earlier tasks). I was wrong about one thing, though. I guessed she would crack when criticised. She didn't.

Have you not yet twigged that Auntie Jepson is always right. That her opinion is the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth and that anyone who holds an opinion that doesn't coincide with hers is plain wrong?

She would like to be as strong a candidate as Yasmina, and to a lesser extent Stella. Unfortunately, the uglier side of her personality shone through last night.

The one thing I do like about Helen is she is probably the least intimidated by LordSirAlanSugar. She probably wants to tell him off, too.

I thought there was an element of humour in what she said. "I'm still learning to forgive him on that one."

We've seen worse. We've seen candidates be quite bitter, even vicious. It was her first time in the boardroom so she was literally learning to adjust. It's a different game in there. The people you thought were friends, who you were just working with, turn against you. Tom effectively accused her of being a glorified secretary, which was a low blow, and had nothing to do with her performance on this task or any other.

I can't beleive Helen even made an issue out of this, Tom was asked why he should remain in the process and he had to say what he could do that the others couldn't, the boardroom is EXACTLY the place to denounce your fellow candidates. Helen had been laying into Melody something rotten - was that ok then? all fair?

She needs to learn some humility, not only did the team lose, but it was her fault they lost. Not only did she push home a ridiculous obsession with approaching retailers, but she undermined her project manager and left her feeling as if at least one of her team had no confidence in her, which affected her performances. For all her brilliance throughout the series, Helen's lust for an unblemished record in the tasks was her undoing. She's lucky her previous record is so good otherwise she would have been fired, Melody has been probably the second most competant candidate in the competition, tied possibly with Jim.

Yes it was, but he also said that Helen had never run her own business and was basically saying that he was better than her. Didn't I hear that these two were going out together? I think that this is why she said that Tom had been a bit naughty and she was slowly forgiving him!

Yes, I totally agree with you! I think that Helen was well out of order and it was definitely her fault that they lost the task. She really did not know what she was doing in last nights task and I think that the underminding of Melody was because she found her to be her biggest rival!

I think that Melody had done a great job and it should have been Tom that left last night. I know that Melody has made a few mistakes but she has worked really hard and I do think that she would have been one of the better candidates to work along side Alan Sugar! She has definitely got balls, her trouble was she spoke too much and talked herself out of the partnership in the end!

I think that Tom and Helen would do well running their own business & don't really need Lord Sugar. He has the ideas & she has the organisation, management skills & excelent presentation skills.
