Just installed BT Vision a couple of days ago, it was fine but today all the ITV suite of channels are breaking up badly, if I switch back to my built in freeview on the tv, they are fine so it can't be the aerial strength? Any ideas what is wrong?

It could still be the signal strength. The Vision box tuner is fairly good, but its a dual tuner which consequently needs a bit more signal than a single tuner (as on your TV). It sounds like you're just on the threshold with the ITV mux, so if you can make a small improvement in the aerial or distribution coax or amplifier you'll probably be OK.

Can't touch the aerial unfortunately, moved into a new apartment and it's a shared system.

But you could install a signal amplifier. They're quite cheap and would most probably solve your problem.

Might be ok, removed all the cables and inserted them again and now get 70 channels, maybe a fault cable/connection? If not will try your suggestion, cheers.

Are you still having a problem? My ITV, ITV2, Channel 4 have all been really bad for the last 7-10 days.

I tried a retune last night (after switching the box off) and now I've lost them all. I get 70 channels, but no signal on ITV, ITV2, C4 etc.

I'm in Maidenhead, pointing towards Crystal Palace.

DP.

Yes, bizarrely BTV is showing them ok at the moment but lost them all off my TV tuner, just don't get a signal at all. I'm in Yorkshire, not sure where my signal is coming from tbh

I'm off Emley Moor Yorkshire and i've been losing ITV channels mainly in the early evening now for 2-3 weeks as well. Expect digital switch over will cure the problem.
