Melody needs to work on her elevator pitch!

Is it just me or does she seem incapable of explaining what she does in 30 seconds...or minutes for that matter!?

All everyone wanted was for her to give a one-line synopsis of what she does.

She couldn't do it, so that leaves me to think that her business is a load of nonsense.

She explained perfectly clearly, repeatedly, what her business does. It seems that everyone is behaving like she was speaking in tongues or something.

ROFLMAO.

I notice that you haven't deigned to explain it to those of us who were too thick to get it.

What would be the point? Any explanation, no matter how clear, would be dismissed with "that doesn't make sense" or "but what does she DO?" in the obnoxious way it was on You're Fired.

I kind of got the gist of what Melody does. It seems to me she basically runs motivational workshops. And if there's a demand for them, then why not?

From what a mere mortal like I can understand, she teachs disadvantaged children to heighten their buisness abilities (public speaking and other things like this) to ensure a prosperous uisness future for the country.
Her money would either come from councils or charity operations that would pay her to teach the kids these things in order to keep them off the streets and solve the economic crisis in the long term.

I am extremmely sceptical about programes like this (and where her money comes from)

If she cannot sum up her business in one simple sentence, what chance potential clients would understand well enough to work with her?

It would not be a problem if Melody says something like "I create and oversee projects on the behalf of government bodies and private companies who pledged to share a social responsibility to invest in British young people's future."

How can she tell any child what to aspire to if she cannot tell an adult what she frikkin does for a living. Its like The Office never happened??

It's as clear as mud. She talks about social enterprise and a business model. What business model, though? That is the question. If she cannot communicate clearly what she does, I wonder what it is she teaches children or young people. Gobbledygook?

She talks utter cr*p, stupid woman, but does collect awards and attends conferences with keynote speakers who she then claims to have 'been trained by' - and gets her photo taken with them in the manner of someone who stands near a pop star when they've bumped into them 'can my friend take a picture please' A load of old bull droppings.

I have to say I am not thick nor am I being deliberately anti Melody

but I cant understand what she does , apparently she works alone, and does motivational speaking and training but to whom and who buys it? and why would anyone buy it from her when she has no business expereince.

She has all these accolades apparently but if I were to buy services from a motivational speaker I would want someone with proven sucess not someone who has accolades but no real grounding

I do not undestand what she would be doing at 10 am or 3 pm in her line of work

More importantly with gov and local authority cutbacks it seems to be a doomed business with little chance of attrating much work for anyone

Melody does need to be able to explain her work espcially if she wants people to buy her services
