I still think it's a terrible product. Why would you want to carry a booster seat around all day? Why not stick to the traditional booster seat and rucksack combo, rather than pointlessly combining them?

I hope Dareloute or whatever the hell they're called go out of business.

Well I very much doubt that this little product would be the making or breaking of them. Seems to sell reasonably well on the UK market. Allows flexibility, particularly when one is unlikely to be sticking to one car or using public transport and taxis.

This product would come into its own when you flying abroad and intend to hire a car at the other end. When my kids needed booster seats, going abroad and finding a hire car which included booster seats was not an easy task or the ones they actually did supply were really manky, so sometimes we had to try to squeeze booster seats into our hand luggage which was awkward and a waste of space. Eventually, we found inflatable ones, but the boostapak would be more practical.

And is very useful to send to school if your child is going home with someone else that evening.. especially as most parents don't have extra booster seats available and schools don't let you leave them there.

They've already sold out in the black colour - so somebody is buying them.

I think they're quite a good idea actually, with younger children and having the hassle of moving car seats if you were going in someone else's car or as somebody above has said taking on holiday to go in a hire car. I would have bought one.
