Their wedding cannot possibly be in October as you say, it's too soon. Amira will have to divorce Syed as he has no grounds for divorce. If she won't agree to a divorce it would take much longer.

Amira should never have been pregnant when she went, it was like the least 'empowering' exit ever!!...but I think as she was pregnant and I guess had Syed's child I am glad that she is coming back ...hopefully just for a short while!! Not because I like the character, because most of the time she really annoyed me , but because otherwise Chryed will always have the ex-wife and baby hanging over them, if she returns it can all be out in the open, hopefully Chryed and Amira can be on good terms for the sake of the child who can have 3 great parents... obviously it's a soap so there would need to be lots of angst before that happened.....but ultimately maybe she and Chryed can have joint custody of the baby...and Chryed can live on the square...and Amira can live say 100 miles away!!

That's what I'm thinking too, it would be kind of ironic if Chryed are trying to adopt a baby whilst Syed's baby is up for adoption too! I'm glad it's happening sooner rather than later...

Another plus point is that my worst case scenario of Syed leaving with Amira and the baby (when Marc eventually leaves) will not be happening

Okay, lurking on my Kindle seriously gives me eyestrain and typing is even worse, but I just can't resist the prospect of my fave ever character returning. Tbh, I'm relieved it's so soon. I didn't actually believe that EE would actually be backward enough to taint their first CP by diluting it down by having a 'shock' return and having all the publicity focused on that, rather than the two people in love getting married. But, you know, it was a fear.

Way I see it, if the episodes air in October, and 'short term' is, what, absolute maximum six weeks, and it's more likely to be a handful of eps? She'll be gone by November, latest. And I imagine this time she'll be leaving with a complete blank slate- signed divorced papers. Clearing the way for a(n Amira-free) CP. One of my fears was that Johnny's leaving on panto would be portrayed onscreen as Christian leaving because of the baby, but now? That doesn't seem a likely prospect. Just hoping this info is correct, because it sounds pretty ideal. Well, as ideal as Amira returning could ever be. The sooner, the better afaic. Get this loose end tied up, get proper closure and probably finish off Christian's baby obsession at the same time? Sounds great, just hoping EE can make up for Amira's crappy exit, because, as flat a character as she was, she deserved a better episode to go out on that she got.
