Yes, but you'll need a video/audio capture device of some kind on your PC and a suitable scart to video/audio or scart to s-video/audio cable. Capturing to your PC will have to be done in real time (i.e. a two hour film will take two hours to capture to your PC). But once on the PC you can edit it as required and the burn to disc.
You can get USB capture devices for less than a tenner, and they are generally OK but reviews for them on Amazon for example, are hit and miss. However, here's two that get good reviews, but both cost around £30-£40: http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/p...roduct_ID/7132 http://www.maplin.co.uk/ion-video-2-...editing-506680 You'll also need a cable that converts a scart plug to S-Video and stereo audio. Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10m-SCART-S-Vi...-/360288658872 Then basically, run the capture software (or your favourite editing software that can capture) on your PC, press PLAY on the Panasonic and hit RECORD or CAPTURE in the software. Most software supplied with the capture devices can convert direct to DVD standard MPEG2 and a modern PC is more than capable of handling the conversion. |

Wouldn't it be easier to transfer the programme to DVD, using your Panasonic DVD/HDD recorder, and then rip the DVD in the computer using software such as Handbrake?
