I recently purchased a Samsung LED TV and so far I'm very pleased with it. However, instead of providing a traditional user manual there is only an "E-manual" which you can view on the screen, and there's no further information on Samsung's website, just the same manual in PDF. IMO the explanations in this manual are not at all clear (probably a translation issue), and it doesn't tell me everything I want to know.

Although not critical, I'd like to know the meaning of the icons in the programme info panel that appears when I press the Info button on the remote. Some are obvious (HD/SD/16:9), and I've figured out that G means Guidance. But there are two that I can't figure out - one is a purple square with a white letter D in it, and the other is what looks like 3 white rectangles arranged one in front of the other. Can anyone tell me what these mean?

Also, when I change channels only a small panel appears in the top left corner of the screen giving the channel number. But is there an option somewhere to make it automatically display the full info panel including the programme title and its details when changing channels? That would be far more useful, as you then know immediately what programme you're watching.

TIA,
Si
