When did you last have it?

I haven't had it for quite some time with Corrie. I think it was when the Frank/Maria/Carla stuff was happening. I desperately wanted to know how it was going to play out, when people would find out, what Carla's reaction would be.

Probably for me it was the episode after Ronnie gave baby Tommy back in 'Enders.

... although I have never wanted to see an episode of a soap more during Corrie's Tram Crash week - I was on the edge of my seat for every single minute of every single episode.

The other day in Hollyoaks when the episode ended with Mitzeee about to be £10k of Warren's money! They were a good couple of eps!

Before then, a few months, Brendan's secret being exposed and his subsequent breakdown - brilliantly acted out, felt sorry for him with his world crumbling around him, but at the same time not, because of him beating Ste. Very good storyline, had me gripped, I had no idea what Brendan was going to do next!

Also, with Kyle and Theresa at the top of a building and falling down a lift shaft a few months ago - a brilliant week of episodes for Hollyoaks! Unmissable!

The last major time was probably the end of episode 1 of CS on Monday 6th December. The teaser for the upcoming tram crash made it even better.

The Peter/Leanne story leading up to the wedding on Coronation Street, and obviously with EastEnders it was this week since Ronnie has been one of my favourite characters. Haven't had that feeling with Emmerdale for a very long time, same with Hollyoaks but I've got to say everything Brendan and Warren have done recently has been brilliant. They've created a tough, believable but also fun double act, of which I haven't seen since Grant and Phil Mitchell in the 90s.

The trouble is, it is very few and far between

I always get that feeling when I know that Carla in Corrie is going to take a major part in an episode. I love her character and can never wait until she's onscreen. I also got that feeling when Corrie did their siege week... Pretty ironic really considering Carla was the key part of those episodes!

I also got the 'can't wait for the next episode feeling' when Corrie did their 50th anniversery tram crash. I was fixed onto the tv!

When Hillman attacked Emily and Maxine walked in.

When Gail heard the truth about Richard.

When the Platt family were driven into the canal.

When the tram crashed onto the Street.

Agree with this - from the 20th anniversary ep in February when Den died right through until the Mitchell's returned and Chrissie was arrested in November this storyline had me gripped. Truly unmissable storyline and nothing in recent years has even came close.

Me as well I loved how one by one more and more characters began to find out the truth. At first it was just Chrissie, Sam and Zoe and it ended with:

Chrissie, Sam, Zoe, Kat, Stacey, Peggy, Phil, Grant, Billy, Dennis, Sharon, Johnny, Jake and Ruby all knowing

And don't forget it was Pauline's doggy doorstop that was the murder weapon.

Remember her comment about Sam when everyone thought she was the murderer? Something along the lines of ''The nerve of her to use my doorstop as a murder weapon!''

I'm assuming it was because he was skint?

Agree completely with the Den murder saga in EE. The murder episode itself was amazing, with the great twist of Chrissie doing it after Zoe seemingly finished him off. As well as Sharon's brief comeback for the episode, which I also didn't know about before it happened on-screen.

Despite the show supposedly in dire straits at the time, it was far superior to the 'Who killed Archie' story, which was basically the same set of scenes given to every suspect until the Live ep.
