Fruit, vegetables, and fish. It amazes me the amount of grown adults who moan that they 'don't like' various types/combinations of these. IMO most of it is just baseless nonsense carried over from fussy childhood eating habits.

Divorce her immediately! That's not natural.

Bacon. Everybody likes bacon, even vegetarians.

Cheese. I can understand not liking stranger cheeses, but how can you not like some mature cheddar? HOW?

Chocolate. Not liking it clearly means you are not human.

Curry.
I have a couple of mates who say they don't like it.
There is so much variation that I don't know how they can say they don't like it. It may be that they've only had microwave/wetherspoon curries but they should try other stuff.

The only thing I would agree with them about is that there is soo much choice/variety that it's hard to know what to try and takeaways are expensive.

My dad is similar. I made a big pan of bolognaise and asked if I should save him some and he said he didn't like it yet he has mince, onions and gravy nearly every week

He does eat curries but only frozen and when i've made them fresh he says he doesn't like them. Maybe he just doesn't like my cooking I do use too much garlic and chilli

My dad is similar too! he does like my curries though, but picks out the veg, even the onion!

I do work with someone though that doesn't like anything in a sauce, which is why they dont like curries. i was curious and checking if it was the spice, but they dont really like casseroles either! I didn't ask about gravy on a roast.

Olives, How can people not love these?
I'm a recent convert to olives! My mum has always loved them, so I'd try them regularly because she was always raving about how delicious they were - and I'd always really dislike the taste, whatever sort of olives they were. I found them really repulsive. Then this summer I somehow just decided I wanted to eat them, and started buying pick and pix assortments - there are still some that make my mouth go all funny with a nasty taste, but most of them are delicious, and I love putting them in salads now.

Right, I'm going to try your 'pick 'n' mix' idea because I've never liked olives either!

Things I like that I don't understand others not liking are:

Celery
Fresh salads
Beans and pulses
Fish
Rare fillet beef

BTW I eat small amounts of chocolate once in a while but I hate the smell of it, especially in confined enviroments like a car.

As a vegetarian who used to eat meat I'm not sure about that. Everyone likes the smell of cooking bacon but the taste and texture are often a disappointment.

The one "food" I can't understand people not liking is peanut butter.

I never used to like them when I was younger, but over the past few years I just started getting urges for olives and now i can't get enough of them

I'm a vegetarian who used to eat meat too, and I don't even like the smell of cooking bacon, it just smells of fat and salt to me...I can smell it a mile off

I can't understand how anybody could not love mashed potato..I could quite happily live on mash and cheese..but my husband isn't so keen so I have to limit it to once a week

This is my Dad too

He will eat curries from Farmfoods but complains about stuff me and my sister have made

I think it is maybe an age thing to be so rude - only on Saturday he complained about a CD I got him at Xmas a few years ago. Just give it to the charity shop no need to be rude to the person face to face

Degsy I am coming to yours for tea

Noooo!

I don't understand people who hate vegetables or onions. I love vegetables but must admit to not having eaten curry in a long time. I used to love home made Quorn ones but my appetite has dwindled over the last year.
