My Mum can't abide chocolate, my brother hates jam and his lad, my nephew thinks that custard is evil.

Strange lot in my family.

Cheese. I can understand not liking stranger cheeses, but how can you not like some mature cheddar? HOW?

Chocolate. Not liking it clearly means you are not human.”

Um.. I dont.

Foods that I cannot understand why people don't love... hmm... broccoli (when it's steamed and cooked to perfection), mushrooms, onions, nuts. Oh yeah, and butter. My bro can't stand butter!

Pasta & Rice.

Not even with sauce or anything, I know people who claim to hate pasta and rice with anything? How is that possible!

I'm a vegetarian and I don't like bacon at all- I always get people asking me "do you not miss bacon?" and I can honestly answer no, I do not miss it at all!

I can honest say I can't think of one thing I like that I can't understand other people not liking. Although judging from some comments I seem to be one that confuses other people as I don't like foods that other people like

I don't like cooked fruits apart from apples. I can't say I don't like every curry as I have not tried them all but I am not a fan of spicy heat, and also everyone I have tried have onions I also can't stand rice - this is my dad's fault

I can't understand why sprouts get such a bad rap - I think they're a wonderful vegetable. Really love them.

Anything but avocado and coriander. I can't think of any other food I don't like.

My brother and mother say they don't like salad at all...

It's not just three leaves of lettuce and a carrot shaving or two! (if you do a nice varied kind)

I just don't get it; and how I've slipped certain vegetables into our diets like courgettes, peppers and aubergines for "tasters" just proves how they like more greens than they think they do.

That food group alone has so much variety to it and so many people just fob it off from a childhood of dislike when in reality your pallette changes over time and/or you'll eat them during a roast dinner but not fresh and raw...completely confuses me.

I also can't understand people who dislike ice cream (lactose intolerance I understand; but there are kind alternatives) it's so tasty and refreshing. You haven't had a good ice cream until you have a fruit flavoured one while on holiday in a hot location in europe like italy!

I had a friend like that; ghastly afraid of tomatoes too. But ironically she liked bbq sauce (which is tomato sauce but tweaked if you read the ingredients) I guess some people just live in ignorant bliss.

Any type of home made soup. I can't understand why some people don't like home made soup but will go through tins and tins of soup. I find tinned soups to be very salty and quite bland for my taste.

Mushrooms. There's so many different varieties and flavours and textures and colours and there's even a psychedelic one too. They are a vegetarian's steak and there's no hideous gristle or arteries to contend with either. Bonus.

+ 1 for Mushrooms, I love them.

Liver and sprouts. love both.

I'm also surprised at the amount of peeps who don't like mushrooms. To me a fry-up, spag bol, lasagne, steak and chips are not the same without mushrooms.

me either. I didn't really like it when I ate meat, too salty, too hard, too chewy.

People who don't like onions I don't get

I don't like the smell of bacon at all (it makes me watch to retch, sometimes) and neither does my OH who is not a vegetarian, as I am. Isn't it supposed to smell like burning human flesh?

Well if you don't like cheese you won't like pizza.

A friend of mind used to heave at the thought of pizza as she said it smelt like vomit...which almost put me off it as I could see her point...

No wonder you went vegetarian if you were eating salty, hard and chewy meat.
