I've just started listening to it on grooveshark.

I'll give a verdict when I've finished.

I think she was relying on her work with Christina Aguilera to break into the mainstream. Shame, in that respect, that Bionic sold badly.

ETA - Erm...It's okay. maybe I'd like it more after a few listens.”

It's more commercial than her previous releases; but it's a refreshing to her other albums as it has a good few happy songs.

I think she wrote with Xtina as an experimentation and hoping she'd get by as a writer for others but she was going through a rough time unaware she had Grave's disease and said odd things like she was retiring from solo releases after We Are Born and other stuff.

She's backtracked on it now since she's been treated for her illness and not feeling weird and crazy.

She'll probably do another album when she feels like it and it'll probably be a nice miserable but interesting album

I would have added KT Tunstall, as I have followed her, from Eye to The Telescope, and have all the stuff she's released. But decided others may well say she's successful.

And with good reason as well <3... an amazing band who didn't deserve the hatred they got earlier this year.

She was a one album wonder though. The other two albums have failed to reach that success. It's likely she never will.

I don't know about that. Drastic fantastic and Tiger Suit have reached number 3 and 5 in the album chart - a similar placing to Telescope. Admittedly I don't think they have sold in the same quantities but I don't think she could be described as a "not so successful act"

Don't be fooled by Peak positions. The sales don't match.

I said that

I still don't think KT Tunstall could be classed as a "not so successful act"

I suppose the more you think about it, yeah your right. She isn't the same line as ones myself and others have said

I wasn't disbelieving you by the way.

Why are so many people saying Kelis??...i would say she is very successful.
She is a BRIT Award winner, has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and has had nine top 10 singles in the UK Singles Chart.

I liked her too, just the silly name Little Boots did her no favours.

A band who never made it, and I used to think of in the same terms as Teenage Fanclub.

The superb Cosmic Rough Riders.

Not sure if they are still together only saw them once at Glastonbury about 8-9 years ago.
