What is happening to my broccoli?

This is the first time that I have tried to grow it.

Do I need to dig it up and try again?

Defo broccoli. I planted it myself.

There are potatoes in there too.

Should I just dig it up and discard it?

Hard to say. It may have grown too fast. Depends when you put it in the ground. We did have that hot spell in the spring. Did you get any florettes on it at any stage?

I do believe it is the weather. Plenty of plants are acting strange this year. My daisies are massive in comparison with last year.

Broccoli is usually harvested in the autumn and winter. The dry spell could have made it go to seed.

I cut my first few broccoli heads yesterday so it is early this year. I only planted it out in late May.
