HTC phone, incoming call ringtone

Sorry but I do not have the exact model, hoping the range of phones are similar!

My sister has one of the above phones. When we call her we can here a ringtone but at the same time some annoying tune.
How can we turn the tune off and just have the ringtone?

Any solutions would be appreciated.

Thankyou

I don't understand this. If you call her all you should hear on your phone is the standard ringing signal. You should not hear whatever ringtone she has set.

Or do you mean that when you are in the same room as her and her phone rings you hear the ringtone she has set but also something else playing that should not be there?

Didnt some mobile operators have this thing where you can set a song, so when people rang you it played said song as well as the dialling tone in the background?

Sure my pal used to have it and it irritated the shite out of me.

I can appreciae this sounds confusing we cannot understand it either!

When you phone the mobile from either a landline or mobile phone you can here a normal ring tone but also an annoying tune at the same time.

My mother was the first to phone her and commented on the annoying tune she has to listen to!

yes, my brother had some Christmas song for months on his, then it vanished.

Nothing the receiver of the call can do, the person who owns the mobile phone have to get in touch with their operator.
i thought it was a fad that have now died out.
