18 loaves

I would pick 7 or 8 simple fillings and double / treble up on them!

I assume that you are buying the bread / butter and fillings?
If so it could be bloody expesnive to go down the chicken / salmon route?

I would go for tuna & sweetcorn, ham & mustard, egg mayo, cheese & onion, plain cheese etc and double / treble up!

Also, as suggested, maybe do some rolls as well (hotdog rolls work well) so maybe cut down to 15 loaves and do a few trays of rolls.

If they are anything like the 16 year olds that I know, nothing too adventurous is my advise.

You could ready make some sandwiches and also do buttered rolls / baps and a meat platter with say beef, chicken and ham for people to make up their own sandwiches/rolls. You can buy these ready sliced at Costco and makro. Might be a bit more expensive will will save loads of time and gives people choice to do what they want.
