How could Jim survive to the final four?

2 times he took the role as project manager the outcome was disastrous. The magazine mess "Hip Replacement, WTF?" where Glenn was fired (which I think PM should be responsible for the fiasco) and this one and he could survive till the end?

I don't mind Natasha going this week, but why her instead of Jim is beyond me.

I think it is because he puts himself out... even when it is not his field at all. People tended to repress and allow his enthusiasm, charm and decisions to take the fall. I feel that Sralan had noticed this and thought that others had shown bigger weaknesses or at least, very noticeable characteristics that he couldn't work with.

I don't get the hate for Jim. Yes he's a charmer and a salesman, but he doesn't seem particularly mendacious or scheming.

I don't think another candidate deserves to be there in place of him

He'll make good TV, simple as that. I reckon the bit where the interviewer says "it's not one error, but full of errors" refers to his CV

If Natasha had used her degree knowledge and they still lost then Jim would have gone. She only lost because she failed to use her skills, and really Jim is a salesman not a business partner so he should have gone.

He did just make me laugh at the end of You're Fired

Jim is in the final so that they can tear him to pieces during the interviews just like they did to Stuart Baggs last year. Makes a good programme, nothing to do with his suitability (very unsuitable) to win!

He's a brilliant talker. Has an answer for everything (except multiplication)

Jim is not the full package as he keeps telling us.(although he may believe this).
He is a good salesman and that is the limit of his skills. It is not unusual for salesman to big themselves up, it sort of comes with the territory, but there are other skills required to run a business. He showed us that today by not having a proper business plan, which was his role as pm. Costs are very important and he was totally lost when quizzed on this aspect of the business.
He should have gone tonight IMO

Jim's ok a bit of a quiet backstabber but the task was lost because they over-thought the whole concept and didn't keep it simple like the other team.

He does get unnecessarily personal in the boardroom, in a supercilious way that doesn't seem to have particularly much to do with business acumen.

Jim's there to go first . He proved last week what he could do - sell - but he's failed again as PM. Susan rightly has pointed that out, and it pretty much disqualifies him anyway. More importamtly he's been caught out again making the same mistakes again - making it up as he goes along with no business plan, and not even basic maths under control.

Natasha at the interview stage just doesn't offer as much good TV as the 4 left..

Jim is a sexist git. His only strategy in the boardroom has been to stab other people in the back. I am really looking forward to Margaret's withering gaze upon his smarm.

I hope not because he helped me and my year with our CV's

I reckon audiences will be too embarrassed watching how Jim messed up the interview
The soundbite in preview "bullshit" says it all

Not really - they spent too much time on the concept, but didn't consider the practicalities of selling and profit margins (which is mainly why they lost). If excuted well, a mexican menu would, in my opinion, be far more appealing than pies.

I think you're asking a lot of one person. Jim took a logical approach of this and thought that he could split this task in three, while almost everything came from himself.

Jim had looked hard to find where the strengths lie and put responsibility there. He failed in demonstrating basic maths... he may well be terrible at it, maybe never even studied, but it's not uncommon for many in business today. One person putting their whole self in (perhaps too much sometimes), coupled with two people who are bickering is making a tough call against two people who work really well together.

Yes, I think that you have it in one, Jim is there to be torn apart in the interviews! Natasha was never going to win either, she should also have gone a couple of weeks back and I think that both her and Jim should have never been in the contest anyway. Yes, Jim is a charmer and full of himself with the gift of the gab, so to speak. He is a salesman and nothing else. I also think that Lord Sugar has kept both Tom and Jim to even the sexes up otherwise they could easily have had 4 women in the final this year. Melody was better than both Jim and Tom and she should still be there!

Natasha has a nasty, hard side to her and I think that she should have gone a long time ago but it was great to see Susan put Jim in his place tonight. At least Susan has some business experience and like she said, she has won both her tasks at being PM and Jim has lost both of his! I cannot wait to see the outcome on Sunday!

I would love to see Susan win but somehow think that it is going to be Helen!

He's no more conniving than any of the rest of them and he does make good TV. My money is on Tom winning, he has the innovative skills that the others lack, they can always hire sales people, buyers, etc. but Tom has the track record of bringing innovating designs to market and given his pitiful efforts on some tasks Sugar has kept him in so I have a feeling he meets the main criteria of what Sugar is looking for.

Jim = 50% blarney + 50% boloney = 100% bullwinkle.

I'm not sure that will be directed at him, I think it will be toward one of the people who are running a business at the moment.

I don't reckon he has exaggerated to much regarding his career, they can check references with the companies. I think the BS might be sales figures, perhaps from Tom.

Having said that I wouldn't be shocked if it was Jim.
