Poor Natasha had rough time on 'You're Fired'.

If you thought they went hard on Melody last week, there was no let up for Natasha tonight - all three panalists kept on and on at her about her failings in tonight's task. I felt sorry for her because she had no come-back and just had to try to smile and take it - even though they weren't even being humourous about it. A bit hard on her I thought.

She looked lovely though!

I thought she came across well and the most real of everyone fired so far.

She wasn't perfect, she knew her failings but I think she had enough towards the end.

The hospitality degree thing was the carrot to get rid of her I am afraid

I think she 'decided' to smile and take it because she wasn't feeling like a 'victim' anymore. She had no reason to bite back like a caged animal, pointing fingers as fast as she could. I feel her personality change was not really a 'change' at all. She didn't feel that she had anything to prove. It was just a sense of wrong doing and humility which she genuinely has.

It was a bit of a disaster for Natasha. She said she worked in a restaurant but she did nothing to prove it on the task. Whoops. The panel were justified to point out how experience should have helped her and her team.

I didn't feel sorry for her at all. She has been quite nasty, hard as nails and loud for most of the series and she has constantly had a go at Susan. I think that the woman in the middle was spot on when she said how hard and agressive she had been. I also think that Natasha was lucky to stay as long as she did and that Melody deserved to stay longer than her!

But she looked lovely tonight, so much better than when she was in the series! She looked so much less harder and more refined!

I agree, but I don't remember anyone having quite such a relentlessly hard time by all 3 panalists on 'You're Fired'. Although Melody was given a hard time by Ruby Wax, she went easy on her eventually, and a lot of opportunities were missed to really take the piss. There were comparatively few opportunities to slate Natasha, but the whole show seemed to be pointing out her failings repeatedly.

I thought the show was particularly unkind to Natasha. She did end up being a bit of a pain over the past couple of weeks but she was good at the start and didn't deserve the treatment she got tonight on You're Fired. I felt very sorry for her. There have been far worse candidates who were treated better.

I felt she deserved her treatment and thought her lack of retaliation was due to the fact she was out of her depth as she was on the show. I've wondered very much what she was doing on the Apprentice and what on earth she though she'd achieve and I can only imagine she thought she may get a TV career out of it, as mad as it sounds most reality TV has ended up down that road, even the Apprentice.

Clearly some candidates have gone made some progress down that route. Certainly the way she looked on YF she'd make a good weather girl. Perhaps she could do it in a bikin a la her lad's mag. One of the few things she did say was she was prepared to exploit women in order to make money like the magazine she was the editor for.

I feel Natasha will get something out of being on the show although it wont be anything business like

I kind of agree with your first paragraph, you could see Natasha being the type who would be a Big Brother contestant

I agree that the focus on Natasha was quite relentless tonight.

But my one observation about her is that she is quite a tightly wrapped individual which means that she delivers almost scripted responses to everything.

And these types of responses, almost media trained (the way I was when a corporate, so I can spot it a mile off) do not actually give anything out, or back.

It was almost as if the were all gradually turning up their dials on her perhaps to stimulate a response, whcih was not forthcoming

While in the programmes themselves, I was wondering if she was demonstrating outstanding corporate b/s all the time (or rehearsing for a job in a 1970's Trade Union, Fred Kite's assistant, perhaps?).

At times, I wanted to shake her and say 'lighten up' or 'break out of this'.

In many ways she was the perfect Stepford Corporate.

And as I write I realise that she projects a humourless image. She is clearly bright but not very quick witted, well her public persona isn't, at least.

But the 3 panelists although relentless were still quite warm to her; probably it was Ed Byrne who was the harshest (a comedian again!!).

Overall, maybe Natasha just didn't care anymore? Especially bearing in mind that it was 6 months after?

I was watching her face when she was in camera but not talking and she didn't look engaged in things at all.

What pisses me off is Melody, probably the nastiest, most spiteful btich of the series gets treated reasonably well and her sucky attitude is brushed under the carpet, yet Natasha got absolutely ripped apart tonight.

That woman on th panel in the middle really had it in for her

Yes, but you can't justify that Melody got a much better and light-hearted YF last week, Natasha annoyed me in the past 2 weeks for blaming Susie for her mistakes but she was overall quite nice but Dara & the panelists are all serious with her like "YOU FAILED, WHY DID U FAIL NATASHA?!!?"

Yes, I totally agree. Natasha seemed in her own little world most of the time and did not have much in common with any of the others either! She did not seem very business like at all and I was just surprised that she got as far as she did! She looked great tonight and a completely different person. Its a pity that she did not make more effort whilst on the programme!

But I dont think that Melody did get an easy time of it at all. She had Ruby Wax taking the pee most of the time and not taking her at all serious! I also think that Melodys panel were the worst of the series and did not ask her the proper questions, they just joked about most of the time. I actually felt more sorry for Melody last week than Natasha this week!

I think that this weeks panel were most honest and to the point and only treated Natasha for the person that she is and how she acted. Lets face it, Natasha did not get on with Susan, Melody or Zoe very well and she was not that close to Edna either if I remember rightly!

I dont think that Melody was nasty or spitefull and she was definitely not a bitch, that sounds more like Natasha to me! Melody got on with most of the others. The only problem that Melody had was that she was full of herself and very confidant! But a lot of them are like that!

I thought she came across very well on YF very intelligent and pretty cool, out of the panel the woman was scratching her eyes out for some reason. Relentless and quite nasty I thought but Natasha held her own and was cool calm and collected.

The more I think about it, I'm wondering if ANY of the candidates really give a tinkers cuss about YFd, especially bearing in mind that it is months later.

Although for us, the seemless transfer from BBC1 to BBC2 almost decieves us into a sort of sub conscious flow overlayed onto the candidate where they have walked out into the taxi at 9.58 and walked onto the set of YFd at 10.02, of course, it is nothing of the sort.

I imagine that most/all of the fired candidates have moved on with their lives, either returning to their old jobs or starting up something new, so by the time they are put under the spot light or 'Wax-Light' or 'Byrne-light', they are regurgitating stuff which is old news to them?

Perhaps this might explain where many of them (especially Natasha) project a rather deferential, even dull approach to the comments; they give a few insightful 'I've learned X and Y' type remarks and then off they go back into their lives (after a few minutes with the TV people and Victoria Derbyshire the morning after.

I want them to get far more involved with the interactions but maybe its just not going to ever happen that way?

If she ever tried that "stop embarassing yourself" line, on me, like she did to a couple of the other's; there would have been a huge falling-out!

I hated it when she did that to people who were just trying to give suggestions.

Melody was probably my favourite candidate, but it's difficult to deny that she had a much easier time of it on YF than Natasha got this week. Wax said she thought Melody shouldn't have been fired, which rather takes the edge off her piss-taking (which was actually quite benign anyway). The "entrepreneur" on Natasha's panel was much more unrelenting.

If I were ever to appear on your fired and some random person like the women in the middle tonight starting breaking down how 'bad' I had done, I would cut her short and tell her to close her mouth.

Me too. I just couldn't help myself, I don't think. If ever some randomer started doing the whole headmistress/headmaster routine on me, the red mist would descend! I'm not particularly aggressive/confrontational but these supposed 'authority figures' on YF... they just irritate me no end.

Half the time I'll seriously dislike a candidate; then I'll see he/she suffering stoically through YF with all its trademark condescension and I end up wishing said candidate would find some of his/her previous aggression and rip the smirking panelists a new one!

Natasha's tactic seemd to be, if ever someone came within hearing distance of her during the show, she would say something like, "Are you OK, you look ill," or "Are you panicking ? you're shaking all over,"or "I would calm down, you're making an idiot of yourself."

She has a degree in Hospitality Management, "but that doesn't make me an expert in it."

So did I. She was very diginified and looked stunning as well.
