The Apprentice Final
Maisy27

It's on Sunday at 9pm for two hours. An hour on the gruelling interview process which I really enjoy, followed by an hour of Dara O Briain's 'You're Hired,'

Also,'The Apprentice: How to get hired' with Dara O Briain is on on Friday, BBC1 at 10.35pm.

So there is no final task?

Doesn't look like. On the tv listing it says:

14/14. The four candidates face a gruelling interview process, before heading to the boardroom, where Lord Sugar picks his new business partner.'

An hour really doesn't seem long enough - would love to see the raw footage of the interviews.

It seems a pity if there is no final task, but I suppose there are four finalists. Still, a final task has more of a 'finishing line' sense to it than interviews or the fast food task.

Actually that is what I like about TA USA. There are two finalists who each have a very big task to do and they pick their helpers from the whole series and then a big finale Much better IMHO.

I think the start time is 8 pm (according to 'The Apprentice, You're Fired', Dara said this time, also there was a caption).

It was the same here until this year. I'm assuming it's because it's not for a job this year but for a partnership with LS. I'd have thought the interviews, where they expose all the b/s the candidates have spouted, are particularly important this year.

I love the interviews, and I think it's good that they're more instrumental in the final this year than some inane task that's reliant on the performance of previously fired candidates.

The last series I watched (2009?) had a head-to-head final between Yasmina and Kate.

Last year there was a final task, designing a new drink. This is the first year there hasn't been one.

There has been a final task every series aside from this one. It's pretty common knowledge; I don't know why you're disputing it.

As an aside, I'm glad they're making the interviews the final task this series. The finals always seem so pointless - the outcome of the task never seems to have any bearing on LAS's decision - & at least this way, the final will be focused on what actually matters (the business plan).
