Of course they will be at the top of the "Top Grossing" charts, they cost more! For every £25 app sold you'd have to sell 42 59p apps to keep up.

I still think you're misunderstanding my point, but I don't know how to explain it properly so I'll just leave it.

You also have to remember that UK prices have VAT included so $0.99 should cost £0.74 when in fact Apple are only charging £0.69 so we still get a better deal.

If that's so, then when you look at the £2.99 price that hasn't changed, that's actually now 24% less than the exchange rate says it should be.

But on the other hand, at £1.49, that's 0.6% more than the exchange rate.

So, not a uniform % increase. Just a realignment into new price matrices. And not unreasonably so it would appear.

But Apple are still evil though... right?
