I bet Jim didn't predict that at all

Agreed. Wasn't expecting it and neither was Jim.

I didn't think he did either. He said he had two girls who appreciated being managed and then seemed to expect agreement that the girls should have been better in the kitchen.
I bet his Mrs does a cracking stew and dumplings.

Well it didn't do them much good did it. I found it quite uncomfortable. Maybe he is not as well educated and not got the degrees some of them have and maybe he did not have the opportunities the others have had but my god he has a sense of humour and that in itself has been a pleasure for me to watch with most of the other dullards and we know he isn't going to win it and so does he but Lord Sugar must see something in him .. selling . maybe he reminds him a bit of himself when he was young. Also, to gang up on him like that they must find him a threat for some reason only beknown to themselves.

Yep, and he's taken that tone throughout the series...

Do you remember what he said about Helen? Jim said he likes Helen because Helen is "passive".

Natasha and Susan were useless in this task . Natasha with a degree in the subject is bankrupt of any meaningful ideas and all she wanted to do was push peppers as symbolic of Mexico. They had to get any ideas from Jim who was trying to get the food right. I'm very disappointed with Susan as the Apprentice as progressed, and her attitude and her unable to form a bond with anyone, only make her colleagues dislike her.

I'm not struck on Jim. There's only Helen I really like.

It's not the first time the PM has had the two candiates either side of them in the boardroom place main blame on them as head of the task and, on this occasion, it didn't particularly strike me as ganging up on him when I saw it happen. Jim has said before who he thinks should be Fired in the boardroom pre-and in the final three knock out, so, in this case, it just seemed to be the other way round with two candidates on him instead.

I thought Susan was an idiot for doing that. Natasha has picked on her and she goes after Jim who has been okay with her. Maybe she just wanted to get rid of the stronger candidate

I enjoyed it too though to be fair I think it was more Susan and Natasha saying the truth really. He was the Leader as it were, he thinks he's a natural and superior to women, well all the women on the Apprentice anyway, but he blew it. He really messed it up. For goodness sake he couldn't even do the sums, in more ways than one.

Having said that he does have a sense of humour and I do wonder if his cracks at the women are in fact dry humour. I was pleased he didn't go and that Natasha did as she seems to lack humour and ability.

It would have been interesting if the 2 person team had been Natasha and Susan. They didn't even attempt to come up with any real ideas for a brand/identity for a chain of restaurants, which was their main part of the task. Couldn't they do it, or was it a case of sabotage and then blame Jim.

The girls got it slightly wrong. Natasha got stuck on her academic background and that grew into Jim's escape route. She should have stressed that she offered her knowledge to Jim, but after saying he would use her, he ignored her. She laid the ground workearly on in the task by asking to be used, but we didn't see her suggest that she should have gone with Jim to work up the concept and pick the menu. if he had explicitly said no, Jim would have been in danger. Lord Sugar would have still wanted to fire Natasha, but if she could have turned that argunent onto Jim, she might have been less vulnerable. Jim would also then have been more vulnerable to the very accurate fire from Susan.

Natasha said pre boardroom that she thought Susan should be fired, but ups and changes her mind?.

Jedi Jim's mind powers must have been weak that evening....

Or maybe she just honestly thought Jim was the most culpable?

(Frankly, none of the three of them covered themselves with glory)

I liked that part! This is how the bit actually went: "*points finger at himself* Fight. *points at Natasha* Flight." That was a good one.
