Tom's my favourite and I think he'll win, I don't think Lord Alan would want to work with Jim and Susan so I think it will be between Tom and Helen and I think he'll chose the underdog, which is Tom, although I'd also like helen to win.

I like all 4 finalists really, even fembot Helen and sly Jim, but Susan gets my vote!

And dont make the mistake of thinking she has been instrumental in those wins, we hardly saw her in the first 6 weeks and then we had Susan gifting her the car seat and Jim schmoozing marketing savvy Asda. It was Toms business calculations that made MyPy too.

What was Tom's suggestion for the fast food type? When Helen said it would be pie and mash I was not convinced, would it be a retro step to the Old Kent Road? But Helen got it right -- pre-baked pies were the ultimate in readymade fast food available at a moment's notice whereas Susan's Mexican food would always take time to assemble, just like doner kebabs. And just like doner kebabs Mexican unwraps itself into a dogs dinner, all over Lord Sugar's savile row suit. British beef pie was one hell of a shrewd decision. Tom's branding of MyPy drew notice, but not as important as the speed of service, the be-all and end-all.

As for eating Christopher Columbus, it was the fashion in vogue. It was the most famous delicacy in the New World.

I'm really surprised Tom is so popular I don't see the appeal. I mean, not once has he actually put himself forward as Project Manager and the only time he actually WAS PM, he was made PM by LS himself.

My favourite candidate in terms of who I think should win is Susan (and that's who I've voted for). The most likeable one for me is Tom. However, I think he's the weakest candidate to actually run his own business as he needs someone else to keep him in check because he's an ideas man. He needs a good business partner who can afford to constantly keep him aimed in the right direction. I don't think Lord Sugar has time to be that business partner. Tom and Helen would make a great business partnership though as they each have the strengths that the other lacks (apart from the common sense to research where Columbus came from).

Voted for Susan as my favourite, and do think she will win, but have a soft spot for all the remaining "candidates", especially Tom.

Wow, I must be really missing something.. I havent been on these boards since week 2 and suddenly Susan is everybodys favourite?? What the Hell...seriosuly? There's even an appreciation thread..
Am I the only one who thinks that she is completely incapable of anything and has looked totally out of her depth the entire show... She has made some huge blunders and lacked the basic grasp of a lot of the tasks. Add to that the fact that she cant get along with anyone,thinks too highly of herself and completely condescending.

And she has come across very childish and annoying.The only thing she seems to have going for her is that she's 21 and has started her own business..But is it a successful business? Any hack can get a bank loan and open a business these days.And to get into the cosmetics industry is not exactly groundbreaking..
I think any of the other 3 are good candidates..Though Im not sure Helen has the business savyiness to start her own but she's been mighty impressive so far.

If Suan comes up with an incredible business plan next week and completely blows Sugar's socks away, I will stand corrected. maybe there is some substance to all that childish nonsense. But from what I have seen so far,she didnt deserve to even make it past week 3.

She's done things that some of the older candidates can't say they have, for god sake she paid her mums mortgage off for her, that tells you she must have something going for her!

I havent been reading the tabloids or done any research into any of the contestants. If she's done well in her life so far,thats good for her..
I have to say that Im going from what Ive seen on the program. And she looks shockingly bad.. Is she everyone's favourite because she is young and has payed off her mother's mortage? I remember the guy on 'Your Fired' saying that she wants her to win badly because her life story has been incredible so far.. What a load of tosh.. Surely the winner should be refelctive of the 13 week process and how they have handled the tasks and pressures...

I heard through the grapevine that she also bought a London flat with her earnings. Impressive.

Still, I don't think she'll win. A hot favourite rarely wins.

Tom hasn't ever been assertive enough against the other candidates. He is lovely and very clever but I do think he is lucky that Lord Sugar obviously likes him.
Jim has made me laugh with his quick witted one liners. He is cut throat and razor sharp. I would think that he could be an excellent business man, the pushy type. Lord Sugar looks a bit scared of him.
Helen is probably my favourite to win. She has been consistant and is an excellent people person. Her pitches were really good.
Susan has been a bit fluffy at times but the sheer determination and focus on each task must be the winning ingredient for Lord Sugar to pick her for his business partner.
