Why can't I stand Torchwood or Dr.Who?

I've never insulted the fans of anything btw. Everyone has different tastes.

I was just asking why I don't get it, since I like a lot of sci-fi and stuff.

I don't know what tingramretro doesn't get about the argument from numbers fallacy. He used it against me "millions of people think x, so x must be right" it doesn't follow... he also doesn't get what a metaphor is.

I like the Torchwood because they do not take themselves too seriously. I wasn't too keen on series 1 of TW, but after they made it into miniseries, I really like it.

I am perfectly well aware of what a metaphor is. I'm also perfectly capable of knowing when someone is being deliberately provocative.

Well, you are essentially calling Doctor Who and Torchwood rubbish in the Doctor Who and Torchwood forum, granted that the forum move was not your intention... But nonetheless, you must see how that can rub people the wrong way. :/

'Course I can just imagine the mods with their trollfaces on, just watching everything kick off.

That's not really trolling, but I apologise to those offended.

I don't get why people care so much and how they are rubbed the wrong way because I don't like a tv show, I think my critisism was fair.

Like you said I didn't post it in this section anyway. There are plenty posts in the soaps section about things people don't like about soaps and it isn't trolling.

Maybe you could explain why people feel so insulted? other than that I will leave as I already had the answers I wanted and the vast majority of replies haven't been mental

As for why the OP doesn't like Doc Who and Torchwood? Each to their own

I don't think this is trolling. It's just voicing an opinion. To be honest, I prefer the OP to most of the whinging and moaning Moffat haters. And before I have people complaining about this post, there aren't very many whinging or moaning Moffat haters on here, so don't get offended.
