I quite like the Asda stored prepared pizzas.

They do large ones for £3.19 or something, I think they are 12" or 14"

I generally have one if they OH is out with her friend and she crashes there overnight.

I tend to 'starve' myself all day so I am ready for it, crack open a bottle of red and snarf away.

I finish it but then feel fat and guilty looking at the big empty cardboard base

What? you only eat the toppings

I've had one of those before after friends raved about them. I think it was the size and the price that excited them. The pizza was bog standard with a cardboard base.

BTW, don't even dare lookup how many calories in a 16" pizza.”

I used to be able to do 2 large deep pan's from PH when it was BOGOF on collection.......

Not sure now though.... Mrs Lard got a bit upset when we were last in the UK & I did 12 slices at PH lunchtime AYCE .....

I've managed a thin crust 16" before, but a deep pan 16"? Not sure I could do that. Especially now. In my fatter days I used to consume with frightening regularity a large dominos pizza with as much meat as I could, potato wedges, chicken strippers and canned drinks.

I still enjoy pizza but not nearly to that level anymore. I did try fairly recently, but my stomach says I'm not to do it again. Oh to be fat again.

Pizza is amazing, I tend to get full after a while so pick the toppings and cheese off and leave the base.

Yes I have regularly, what I do is get 2 pizzas with different toppings, cook them and put one topping side down on the other so both bases are facing outwards, making myself a massive pizza sandwich in effect.

Tried that idea the first time after watching man v food

I've seen on US shows many times people folding their pizza. I guess you need to have a pizza made thin and soft so it is able to be folded. Big slices also.

I did watch a program in Italy where a guy in Napoli folded a full pizza into quarters and ate it like a wrap. Apparently that's the authentic way to eat it.

Have done the 16" many times, but over a couple of days. Cold pizza is great.

A word of caution, a student friend of one of my children ended up in A & E after splitting his stomach from eating too much pizza.

I can happily eat a 12" all to myself, stuffed crust too. I'm like Joey from friends with my pizza. NO sharing! It probably works out at about a weeks worth of calories though, lol!

I know you were joking but it is funny how many people will think that the OP and others on this thread are overweight for the amount they have eaten.

I am stick thin, always have been (except with I was a toddler - I chubbed out for a little while there ) but I can eat huge amounts of food without a problem where as my friend who is on the larger side struggles to eat small portions.

I assume the opposite as I know a number of people, my other half included, who can eat and eat and eat but don't put on a pound. Personally, I'm not a massive fan of 'junk' food so only have it once in a while in any case. However, when I was at uni, my friend and I competed to see who could eat the most pizza slices at the pizza hut buffet, I think it was only £4 at the time, I managed 20 she had 35 and a few hours later went out for dinner!! I on the other hand spent the rest of the evening on my bed feeling very ill
