Did the final 5 not know about the interview date?.

Why were the candidates so flummoxed at the start of the day?.

Were they really not told about the change in format this series, or does anyone think it was done to keep them on their toes, or was a setup for the viewers?.

I don't think they are told much about what task is coming up next. From previous shows they would have been expecting the interviews around now so that's prob why they were debating what to wear ... When to have the interviews may have been decided on very early by the production team this year to fit in with the change of format / prize or may have only been decided near the end of filming ....

Some of the girls during the tasks have already looked quite dressed up in the tasks so I wonder what Susan and Helen's interview outfits will be like.

is there going to be an interview task bearing in mind the final's on sunday

and if so will one of them be fired and then the other two go on to do the final task?

i love the final where some of the old faces come back.

Sunday is the interviews. its been rejigged because they need to interogate their business plans so it is now more important, in the new format, than the traditional final task.

is my understanding of it anyway. but i only joined last week so I wouldn't listen to me.

The interviews replace the final task.

Which I tentatively approve of. I didn't much like the interview round because it was so random. I don't know the interviewers as well as Lord Sugar because they only appear at the end. I don't know what the candidates have put on their CVs. When someone gets fired for things that happened long before the show started, it just seems unfair.

I didn't like the final task, either. The result is always judged subjectively and Lord Sugar just picks whoever he wants regardless of how this particular task went (and although I like to think he decides back then and doesn't change his mind in the intervening months, it's hard to be sure).

This way, we get an extra genuine task in week 11, and the interview round focusses on their business proposals which are at least relevant.
