DVD "Wallpaper"

I've noticed on quite a few Region 1 DVD's, that when I stop the disc rather than showing the usual DVD screen I get the cover of the DVD instead. When I put these dvd's in my PC they're actually small mpeg files in a folder names jacket

Has anyone else noticed these?

What do you think of them?

Personally I think they're a great idea and all DVD's should have them.

Actually these seem very rare. I noticed them on a few earlier DVDs but it seems to be something that never caught on.

I could be wrong though, what DVD was it?

The ones I can think of off-hand are

Batman:The Animated Series Vol1
Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker Uncut
Bubba Ho-Tep
Comic Book Confidential
Dogma
Evening with Kevin Smith (This is the R2 version so I suspect it's a direct copy of the R1 version)
Glitter
Joe Dirt

The Goonies has a good 1. What a great movie and DVD that is shame it hasn't been out over here because of the arguments over the age certificate etc.
