Since Helen has recently took a slide in opinion after the week Melody was fired, anyone else think this is a bit too coincidental?

She's the 'star of the show' for the majority, then her 'true colours' show when she comes face to face with rival, all in good time for the final?

My point is; does anyone think perhaps Helen has been like this all along but the show has been yet again cleverly edited to dramatise this 'shock change'?

BTW. My personal opinion on Helen is dropping rapidly, I really dislike the way she completely acts like she's above anyone else and they should all feel honoured to be in her prescence. I can't stand people who like to belittle others and in her pitches she commonly makes the other people look stupid, she acts like she's one of the employers and she's not an equal contenstant.

She does seem to have this air of importance about her but I think that's probably just the way she is. To be fair, there aren't many candidates that don't think they are better than others, it's pretty much criteria for this show and the people that enter it (despite exceptions of course).

I think that inccident with Melody was more a sign of her smelling the 'near end'. I doubt she would have made such move early on in the series of even at the mid point. With having won lots of tasks and people complimenting her on 'not losing yet' probably gave her a gradual filled confidence that gave her the balls to try and take PM role of Melody. If she had lost more tasks before that I doubt she would have even tried it.

There was no shock change or revelation of "true colours". I think Helen just didn't want to lose her winning streak and so tried to oust Melody when things were going pear shaped. That the failure was mainly due to her own idea to sell to retailers seemed to pass her by.

I loved the fact that even when Lord Sugar told her in the boardroom selling to retailers was dumb, she still said her grand plan after she had ousted Melody was to sell to retailers, she just didnt get it at all that girl lol.

I too see Helens dark side.

For the record we all knew Helen would make the final because her dumb... younger sister came on here many weeks ago and practically told us as much lol ......... bless her. Then she was obviously told off by Helen since she suddenly disappeared lol.

Yes, she showed a blind spot there, for sure.

Of course she's got a dark side, she's only human. Or so it seems.

Here is a team mate who probably did more on the task than she did and she cuts him that dirty comment ..... what a b..... I wouldnt have let her get away with that.

I hope so too. Don't get me wrong, Ive had the odd impure thought about Helen, but on a professional level, I just dont trust her.

From what I saw in the previous episodes, Helen only looked down at Melody (the coup d'eta) and Natasha (biscuit task - Helen & Jim clearly ignored Natasha).

Helen generally appreciates fellow team members. She always works well with Jim, Tom and even Susan (buying task, Paris task & advertising task).

Yes and no. She's been like that all along. In particular, on the beauty task, she was involved in confronting Susan about her poor sales. Where-as Zoe just reminded her she couldn't sneak under the radar on this one, Helen was more critical and explicitly said that Susan had given bad advice. Arguably it wasn't Helen's place to say anything at all. It seems to me she often hung around with whoever was PM for a task; she was always ambitious and outspoken.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it did bother me that Zoe attracted so much criticism for that incident and Helen didn't, even though for me Helen was worse.)


She was asked what her plan had been. Since that had been her plan, she had no choice other than to say that.

Or do you think she should have lied about it? She could have tried to invent a new plan on the spot, but that would have been difficult to do successfully. She could have pretended not to have a plan, but that would make the attempted coup look bad. Honesty was the most practical strategy as well as the more ethical one.

Nor do I blame her for trying to defend that plan, even after Lord Sugar had criticised it. She had, after all, got a large order, even though Lord Sugar claimed that should be impossible.

I thought that was quite nasty too. Tom was simply responding to a question by LS even if he did get a bit carried away it was quite bitchy of her to speak to him like that when he had helped win the task that got her into the final!!

I took that to be a genuine mistake. Tom and Helen had worked so closely together he started speaking for her about the project. I can understand why she felt a bit miffed, but it was fairly good natured.

It's television, the producers can make things look however they want to to make 'good TV'.

She was lucky to win nearly every task, but her contribution was organising and putting effort in. That is as far as it goes with her - she does not actually have a clue about basic business and that task sank her team, she being actually the cause and unable to rescue it. Thus, it showed up her key weakness, when she was in the boardroom for the first time.

i am also intensely suspicious of people, who declare work is all. They lack a wider vision and in difficult times, they actually have nothing left to contribute. She is no brain - she went to De Montfort, hence why she could only get a traineeship with some provinicial law firm with a large criminal defendant practice.

She was pretty much invisible until she was gifted that kids car seat to flog.

Thought that comment was unnecessary, showed her to be a madam in my opinion.
