Samsung TV. Trying to use DLNA to show recorded programmes on HDR
Using my PC, I have used FTP to transfer an SD recording .ts file from my Humax HDR to a USB stick. I then plugged the stick into my new Samsung TV but have been unable to see the recording as the TV objects to the file format despite some of the Samsung documentation which suggests that this should work.
Has anyone got this to work with a Samsung TV? My ultimate goal is to be able to use the TV's DLNA/Upnp feature to play files stored on the HDR using Mediatomb. I could play the recording using VLC on my PC. This makes me wonder if Mediatomb could be configured to do some transcoding. |
