Flipping blody hell, mal!
![]() (((((((((((((((((mahoosivehugs)))))))))))))))))))))) Glad it's been a bit easier for you today and hope his recovery is steady and good. I'm nearly better, honest - no vertigo today and only got two days of pills left. Might as well go in Monday as I only teach one lesson, and I can spend the last couple of days getting some sorting and tidying done before everything winds down. Mr M is v. peed off cos he's lost a wheel-trim off his car, and Melony has been an unmitigated horse's arse all day - apart from that all's well here...

Obviously everything's crossed here for a complete recovery. Not much to report from bat towers. I'm ploughing through masses of legal stuff to do with my mum and getting completely depressed by the whole thing. It's a good job I drink... |

Mal - tried in vain to quote your post - but hope you know positive vibes are winging their way in your direction.
Stay strong - stay positive. ![]() For me - an invitation to a summer garden party sounded just what I needed, but the inclement weather put a blight on proceedings. I had two choices - discomfort in a hot and humid marquee or, outside the tent, umbrella in one hand and glass in the other. The latter won - there's something quite decadent about drinking wine out in the open when it's pissing down. A bit Brideshead Revisited. |

Iggy - I'm trying to picture it, but all I'm seeing is the horizontal rain we had here earlier. Honestly, it would be okay weather for mid-October, but this is supposed to be the middle of summer! Grrr... |

Oh believe it, batty, believe it!
![]() Less of the equine rectum today, though - we've been up to replace her trainers, which it turned out are a size too small (HOW??????), and much to her delight tthe new ones have FLASHING LIGHTS on the soles. Not especialy through choice - they hadn't many in her size - but she's very taken with them. Had to give them a quick bang on the hall carpet when she cam down after her bath, just to be sure they still flashed! snowbes - hope the head is better Iggy - classy!

Oh pants, it's Monday ...
![]() Handy - you'd best be taking another day off.... *wags finger* Here, I'm delaying going into work because of traffic issues. That, and a total lack of motivation since being told we're getting the 'announcement' on Friday, which conveniently enough happens to be the last day of term.

It gets worse, they've now shifted the timing of said announcement to 3pm (it was originally timed before lunch). So, that'll be a jolly end of term lunch then.
That said, shelf stacking at Tescos is beginning to look quite appealing. ![]() Handy - whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy were you at work?

Better than and ouch in the mouth, though, KJ! ((((hug)))
Sad - honest injun, I'm better. And tbh there'd be so much mess to sort out if I *wasn't* here it's easier to be at work. Saves doing all the sorting out in my holidays. Just cast the Christmas panto... I'm organised!

![]() KJ - it's one of those things we can't DIY... (((wallet))) Sad - it does sound bad, doesn't it. Is it likely to be crap news for a few people, or for everyone? Here, I'm going cross-eyed trying to get through more legal stuff. It's not that it's SO complicated, it's just that my brain's not wanting to play today. It would rather be reading Heat magazine and deciding which ice-cream to choose. |

![]() Long live the GOW thread. ((((GOW)))) Vibes for HM, Mal, BG, KJ to help make what's wrong in their lives better again. ( I was trying a OSFA approach. ) My "baby" is 32 today. How did that happen since I'm only 40 ? ![]()
